Mark your calendars and purchase your tickets to one of my favorite fall events, The Magic City Sip & Shop hosted by GlamPop! All the glam happens Wednesday, October 26,2106 at Bridge Street Gallery in Birmingham,Alabama.

For the night, The Bridge Street Gallery houses two levels of nothing but glam. It's literally like walking into the glam room of all glam rooms.

DËSIGN: CRAFT HOUR

Designing the perfect Craft Night was so much fun.

I was inspired by the bold black and white striped design of the  Zoës Kitchen Girls Night In Party Pack printables by The Tomkat Studio! 

A few sheets of striped craft paper from Paper Source was perfect for creating envelope liners for my invitations!

Guest signed in to receive future #withlaquin event updates and the chalkboard name tags were a hit!

Crafters created acrylic trays from photo frames and adornments such as chevron fabric, glitter scrapbook paper and foil dots!

Blogger Madison Miles of Keeping the Creative styled her finished cork board tray on the spot with props from her handbag! I received these beautiful Art Deco earrings from local artist Casey Williamson as a hostess gift!

Attendees received a swag bag of goodies featuring Naughty but Nice Kettle Corn! Want to check out the other goodies included in the swag? ALOHA: RETIREMENT BREAKFAST

ALOHA:  What's better than a trip to Hawaii? An island themed retirement party of course! 


JOIN US: Soft coral and pink colored Evites were accented with a gold palm tree.LEI:We created this beautiful fresh flower lei and brought a little bit of Hawaii to the guest of honor! 

'ahui: Gold Vases held colorful Gladiolus and Palm Leaves, creating simple yet  elegant tropical arrangements.

Votive candles flanked equally stunning windowsill arrangements.

SOUTHERN HAWAIIAN: A southern cuisine was only appropriate and a creamy grits bar is a great way to let guest control their main dish! Toppings included bacon crumbles, sausage, cheddar cheese, asiago cheese , portobello mushrooms and green onions.

Small clip on chalkboard signs guided guest through the breakfast buffet. SWEET TREATS: An assortment of pastries included cheese danish, mini cinnamon buns and blueberry muffins.

HEALTHY: Selections of Yogurt, Granola and Fresh Fruit rounded out the breakfast buffet. 

I SPY:A flamingo playing in the sand! 

CONVERSATION PIECE: A large Straw umbrella anchored the buffet bar.

QUENCH: Guest refreshed at a beverage station featuring green apple  infused water, orange juice and Starbucks coffee!

Large Chalkboard signs looked awesome on our Monticello beverage dispensers! 

ALOHA: It's not a send off without custom luggage! This twist on a guest book gave guest a chance to leave messages for the guest of honor on custom postcards.

When a diva celebrates 60, it’s all about class, style and flair!  This super chic Stripes & Roses Celebration was all of that and a scoop of popcorn! 

Nibble: The Hampton Popcorn Company striped tins  were a perfect pair with these super cute Black & White Striped mini treat bags via The Party Fairy! 

BYOB in style: Guest enjoyed a beverage station 

with  custom monogrammed cups and whimsical straws! 

PARISIAN SLUMBER FETE

What's better than games,food,fun and friends? Well being in your pajamas of course! You're never to old to have a SLUMBER PARTY and what better way to celebrate than PARISIAN style!

RETIREMENT LUNCHEON

We were commissioned to create a calm and of course pretty atmosphere in celebration of 27 years of service. We chose a palette of chocolate brown and a calming blue and decided that only fresh flowers would provide the  atmosphere for which we were commissioned.

The Alabama School of Fine Arts Dorm Awards is held at the end of the school year to honor and recognize the students that reside in the schools dormitory.

The Hamilton - Clowers Wedding

Surrounded by friends and family Tiffany Hamilton and Larry Clowers were committed in union. The intimate ceremony took place in front of a charming wood burning fireplace. Tiffany and Larry embraced their southern heritage with the use of magnolias and even showcased a southern delicacy, shrimp and grits, during their cocktail hour.  This apple green, chocolate brown, and ivory nuptial was flanked with sentimental touches. The grooms love of comic books led to the creative use of table cards labeled with names of married comic book couples.

On a balmy Saturday afternoon, Skyler Lenoir and Alan Barnard exchanged vows in a simple outdoor ceremony performed by a family friend and high school choir director of the bride. The party then moved inside of the Victorian style home fittingly named The White House located in Westover, Alabama where guest gathered in the parlor to partake of exquisite heavy hors d’ o euvres prepared by The White House executive caterer and owner of the Chelsea Grill, Tim Wright.
