PRETZEL CRUSTED SWEET TEA CHICKEN NUGGETS

INGREDIENTS: 1 LB CHICKEN TENDERLOIN . PURE LEAF SWEET TEA. 3 CUPS ROLD GOLD TINY TWIST PRETZELS. 2 TSP  GARLIC POWDER. 2 TSP ONION POWDER. 1 TSP SMOKED PAPRIKA. 1 TSP CRACKED BLACK PEPPERCORN. 2 EGGS . 1/4 CUP MILK . PEANUT OIL

Cut chicken tenderloin into 1½ inch pieces

Place cut chicken into a bowl and pour in enough tea to submerge the chicken. Cover the bowl and place in the refrigerator for 24-48 hours.
The longer the chicken marinates the stronger the sweet tea flavor will be.

Blend 3 cups of pretzels to a fine powder like consistency. Pour blended pretzels into a bowl and mix in 1 teaspoon each of garlic powder and onion powder.

In a bowl mix eggs  and milk with 1 teaspoon each of smoked paprika, garlic
powder and onion powder.

In a pan for frying heat peanut oil to 350 degrees.

Dip chicken nuggets into the egg mixture then cover the nuggets with pretzel powder. Work in small batches and place coated nuggets in a single layer on a plate.

Fry nuggets in peanut oil. Don't over crowd your pan with nuggets and be sure to turn the nuggets as they will brown quickly!

Remove nuggets from oil and let drain on a paper towel covered plate.

Serve with your favorite dipping sauce and enjoy!
